The Mustangs scored first and last in a win against Livermore Friday evening that started with everything going the Mustangs way. The first score came after a nice Scritchfield move, crafty Chang moves and TD followed by a Redd PAT. 7-0  On Defense Shirreffs hit the ball carrier deep behind the line of scrimmage and with pressure from Maruyama, Turcotte and Marquardt Mustangs came up with the ball. On Offense following a Chang Chang Chang series Lockie or Lowkey kept it for a TD followed by a PAT 14-0 End of first quarter. 
 

The Redd squib kick off hopped and resulted in a fumble recovery at the 45. Lockie then turned to Troy Johnson who scored for the Mustangs and with PAT brought the score to 21-0. At the next kick off Livermore ran back to good field position and worked it down to a TD. 21-7 But Mustangs took it back and Lockie found Chang and Troy Johnson who scored his second TD of the night. 28-7
 
The next series was a challenge for the Mustangs following a squib kickoff and 3 penalties the Cowboys scored. 28-14. On offense Lockie under big pressure so special teams and McFarland came out for the punt. Stepping back McFarland threw deep to Troy Johnson who drew a penalty resulting in Mustang first down. Offense back on field and Lockie finds Melin for a TD followed by Redd PAT.  35-14 End of first half.
 
Redd Kickoff was an onside kick attempt but recovered by Cowboys who scored several plays later. 35-21 Mustangs received their kick off and Lockie with Chang and Scritchfield moved the ball but on 4th down called on McFarland who punted 40 yards to the Cowboy 20 yard line. Several plays later Cowboys scored 35-27.    The next offense series resulted in a McFarland punt. The defense held Cowboys who were held to their punt and penalty bringing Mustangs to the 50. Offense returns and Lockie with Melin and Chang worked it down the field where Lockie ran it in followed by PAT. End of the 3rd quarter. 42-27
 
 
Cowboys scored 2x at beginning of 4th quarter bringing the score to 42-40 and a 2pt conversion attempt stopped by Walker. 7:37 remains on the game clock. Cowboys attempt an onside kick recovered by Mustangs who with good field position score last TD of night with Lockie to Melin. 49-40 On Defense the Cowboys were not done but Turner broke up a long pass and Melin came up with an interception in the end zone. Game Over. 49-40
