Monte Vista beats Heritage

 NCS PLAYOFFS MV vs HERITAGE 11/19/11

CONDITIONS:  45 with wind gusts and showers to heavy rain
Monte Vista hosted Heritage on a cold rainy night.  Your intrepid reporter could not write a detailed summary as the paper got wet and ink ran so here is a brief note followed by the CCT HS sports section stats. 
MV scored first and seemingly at will during the first half but the defense struggled in the second half allowing 3 Heritage TDs in the 4th quarter and pushing the final score to look like a much closer match than it was.  Credit goes to the Lockie-receiver combos who amazed their teammates, coaches and crowd with catches in the clutch in driving rain.

*  The 2 cheerleaders who continued to encourage the student section to the last play- You Go Girls! 
*  The snack shack for keeping us warm with hot chocolates and well cooked hot dogs all season- Yum!
*  Mrs. Glimme who always adds a touch of glimmer with her version of the national anthem.

*  Mr Bolling for announcing and entertaining the crowds.  What was that name again? 
*  An enterprising senior selling $1 trash bag ponchos.  Future candidate for Trump’s Apprentice?
