Frosh beat Castro Valley 42-14

Zachary Cribb takes opening kickoff 80 yards for TD.
Castro valley opening drive stopped with a fumble recovery by DL Jack Kundred..
QB John Hooper completes pass to RB Cribb for 20yds, followed the next play by Cribb sweeping right into the end zone to make it 14-0 after PAT by Chase Reed.
CV's second drive stopped on 4 and 1 attempt by DL Jack Pate and Ryan Hancock stuffing up the middle.
MV's next play Cribb takes it 40 yards for his 3rd TD, with the offensive linemen Martin, Young, Ferguson opening holes.
To open second quarter Hooper hands off to RB Kyle Henry for a long sweep around the left end, followed by Hooper passing to TE Warson, making a spectacular one armed catch for a 30 yard TD.
On the following kickoff Jack Mckee saves a TD by running down the CV returner on the MV 38.
Unfortunately CV scores on a pitch out around the right end. 28-7 after PAT.
MV's next drive Hooper passes to WR Cameron Bothwell on the flat for 15 yards, and passes to WR Dominic Turchet in the corner of the end zone to make it 35-7 after another successful PAT by Redd.
On the ensuing kick off to CV, WR/DB Chris Cranston recovers the ball for MV.
CV's opening drive in 2nd half, DL Hancock stops a run for a 1 yard loss, and LB Scott Shirreffs tackles in the backfield, breaking up a reverse, resulting in MV taking over on downs.
CV scored on their next drive making it 35-14. On CV's next drive DB Alexander Brown tackles for a 3 yard loss on a pitch out, and Shirreffs makes another tackle for a 2 yard loss, making it 4 and 5, followed by an incomplete pass and MV takes over on downs.
In the 4th quarter, QB Hooper takes it 88 yards on a naked bootleg for a TD to make the final score 42-14.
Kicker Chase Redd was 6 for 6 on PATs, with long snapper Baxter Cantrell delivering the ball.
 
In the 5th quarter, RB Peter Bronge fought for extra yards up the middle, dragging defenders with him.
DL Robbie Livingston had a couple of nice tackles for a loss, and Cantrell, in his DB roll, wrapped up a CV RB's ankles and dropped him like a stone. Play of the 5th : DL Dylan Dalton strips the ball and runs 60 yards for a TD.
